Located in Gordon Head, Township Coffee Co. is known for its welcoming atmosphere and quality beverages. Their matcha latte is made with the locally milled JagaSilk matcha, an Okumidori blend that grows slower than most cultivars, allowing the plant to focus and draw out flavour rich oils. The technique JagaSilk uses brings out the brilliant chlorophyll content, velvety mouthfeel, and floral aroma. Its tasting notes are white peach, pine nuts, and fiddleheads.

Wairua Cafe uses matcha from Genuine Tea, a Canadian family-owned company that sources it from Uji, Japan.
The cafe offers a regular matcha latte on the menu, a vanilla matcha latte, and a spring feature strawberry matcha latte.

The tea shop uses high-quality, bright green matcha sourced from Uji, Japan, in its matcha lattes, creating a product that is flavourful and satisfying. Their ceremonial grade matcha is from Cultivate Tea, a Vancouver-based tea shop sourcing tea from small producers who continue to find ways of maintaining traditional methods of harvesting and making tea throughout China. Routine’s matcha latte is made with agave and your choice of milk.

With locations downtown and in Langford, Flourish BeauTea offers carbonated fruit tea incorporated with fresh fruit, unique blends of coffee, and delicious desserts. Their strawberry matcha latte has become very popular, combining grassy notes of matcha with the sweetness of real strawberry chunks. Another highlight is their Uji Matcha Latte, offering a more traditional flavour profile.
